The Chapter Meeting on March 8th at Benedetto's Steakhouse in Punta Gorda was a great success.  WE met our new RPEA Executive Director Michael B. Fitzgerald and Marie Scalzo, NYS Dept. of Civil Service.

For those of us who have been attending for more years than we can count, we lost Clinton Moore on February 1, 2008.  Clint's smiling face was the first everyone saw while he took your money for 50/50 tickets an, along with Ruth, his wife of more than 60 years, served on our Steering Committee.

Due to mail delivery problems over the past few years, MaryAnn Gentile, Treasurer is creating an email list to en-sure that as many members as possible receive our meeting notices. You will receive early notice of our spring meeting date, as well as who is coming plus lunch reservation forms.

Due to the fact that not everyone has an email address, you may contact a fellow member and they could pass info on to you. Contact Mary Ann at: maralph@comcast.net If you are a Chapter member, up north, you are welcome to get on list. Needless to say the list is for RPEA Florida Gulf Coast Chapter only.

Chapter Events

The Florida Gulf Coast South Chapter has scheduled a Membership Meeting for Monday, November 17, 2008 at Benedetto's Steakhouse in Punta Gorda at 9:30am.  The guest speaker will be Charlotte County Law Enforcemetn Officer to speak on Identity Theft.  The cost to attend this meeting is $14.00/person and includes your choice of Roast Beef, Chicken cordon Blue or Fish for lunch.  For more information please contact Mary Ann Gentile at 941-966-7942 or scampi1121@comcast.net
